The canonical site lists the live seat at £1,000 plus VAT. Teams buying at least ten seats are offered £900 plus VAT per seat. The self-paced version is £375 plus VAT and removes live workshops, one-to-one coaching, cohort accountability, and Demo Day.[1] Optional private coaching is listed separately rather than included in the standard live seat.
That price structure makes the decision unusually clear: the £625 difference between self-paced and live access mainly pays for feedback, troubleshooting, accountability, and peers. If you already ship projects without deadlines, the self-paced offer or an open-source build path may be enough.
Curriculum: what you build#
The curriculum begins with a portable “second brain” of context files, then moves through security, MCP, APIs and command-line tools, reusable skills, proactive scheduled agents, coding agents, team rollout, an advanced build, and Demo Day.[1]
The security session is a meaningful strength. It discusses prompt injection, least privilege, and the danger of combining private data, untrusted content, and the ability to send data out. Invoices are issued by Accatalyst Ltd, UK company number 16985686. Companies House lists the company as active, incorporated on January 25, 2026, with James Douglas Dean McAulay as director.[3] A young company is not a defect, but it limits the length of the operating history available for review.
McAulay's strongest independently corroborated background claim is his role as CEO of Encore before its acquisition by Mixcloud. Mixcloud publicly announced the acquisition and identified him as Encore's CEO.[4] Other biography claims about education, ElevenLabs growth, launch volume, GMV, and bookings appear in seller material and should be attributed to McAulay unless independently audited.
The public footprint includes course guides, curriculum pages, participant profiles, a GitHub starter repository, and external workshop appearances. That supports a real instructional operation. It does not prove that every learner obtains the advertised savings or business value.
Evidence-backed benefits#
The clearest benefit is implementation pressure. Participants build during the program, submit checkpoints, and can ask questions when authentication, permissions, connectors, or deployment fails. Limitations and complaints#
The time commitment is material. The program advertises about 4.5 hours of live sessions weekly, while one case study described three-hour blocks on Tuesday and Friday, an hour on Thursday, and work between sessions.[6] Buyers should reserve build time as well as class time.
The official curriculum says a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan costing at least roughly £20 per month is required and that free tiers will not get learners through the course.[1] Third-party tools shown in agent workflows can add API, automation, CRM, database, email, and hosting costs.
There is no broad independent complaint corpus for this specific 2026 program. Research found no substantive Reddit thread or Trustpilot profile tied clearly to the offer. That means there was no defensible fraud pattern to report, but it also means the strong satisfaction story relies heavily on the seller's review collection. Even favorable participant material acknowledges troubleshooting and uneven value by role. Hidden and ongoing costs#
The stated software floor is a paid AI plan, but production agents may need model API usage, cloud hosting, databases, observability, automation platforms, and paid integrations. None of those are bundled into tuition. Security review and compliance work can also exceed the cost of software when agents touch customer or company data.

The local Meta and YouTube paid-ad scan found no captured creative for Agent Accelerator, James McAulay, or agentaccelerator.ai. The domain appeared only as a scan input. Is Agent Accelerator legit?#

Legitimate does not mean universally worthwhile. The live program is most rational for someone who has workflows to automate, needs deadlines, and will use coaching.
